About Melbourne FL: Melbourne is a city in Brevard County, Florida, United States. Melbourne is a principal city of the Palm Bay – Melbourne – Titusville, Florida Metropolitan Statistical Area. In 1969, the city was expanded by merging with nearby Eau Gallie. Melbourne is located approximately 60 miles (97 km) southeast of Orlando on the Space Coast, along Interstate 95. It is approximately midway between Jacksonville and Miami. Melbourne has two downtown business districts, a result of the merger of Eau Gallie into Melbourne: Eau Gallie Arts District and Historic Downtown Melbourne. The City of Melbourne lies along the Indian River Lagoon, a vast estuary loved by boaters, anglers and those who just enjoy its quiet beauty. On the other side of the river a portion of the city lies on a barrier island with many beach parks offering even more fun in the sun. Melbourne has an international airport and is located next to a major interstate with easy access to Orlando and the attractions, Kennedy Space Center, and points beyond. Sometimes referred to as “The Gateway to Sea & Space”, Melbourne is just south of Cape Canaveral — home to the Kennedy Space Center and Port Canaveral. You can watch launches from almost any point in the city, or take the short drive up to the space center to get close to the action. While up there, you can visit Port Canaveral — an active shipping port with daily departures of cruise ships and deep-sea fishing boats.

A commercial water softener works much like a residential softener does by pushing hard water through an ion-exchange filter to remove minerals (that exist naturally in water) and replace them with soft water. The ion exchange filter contains negatively charged resin beads coated in sodium which capture magnesium & calcium (naturally positively charged) and replaces them with sodium.
How much does a commercial reverse osmosis system cost?
Commercial reverse osmosis systems cost anywhere from $500-$20,000 with an installation fee of $500-$2,000 depending upon the application & needs of your business.
How should you dispose of resin out of a commercial water softener?
You can
dispose of resin out of a commercial water softener in a number of ways but we recommend that you schedule your system for service through us. Resins are considered solid waste and are typically either buried in landfills or incinerated. And must be disposed of in compliance with federal, state, and local waste management regulations. Take the guesswork out of disposal by contacting Culligan by GW Pumps at
